FREE cat and dog first aid seminars are now available on the East Coast. The seminars are held monthly and teach pet owners how to give animal CPR. The seminars have been sanctioned by the North-East Vet Clinic and will be carried out by Dr Karen Wong. The seminars will start in June and will be held at the North-East Vet Clinic in Quail Street, St Helens. Anyone looking to register can contact Dr Wong on 6321 8999.

Car and bike show
THE annual St Marys Car and Bike Show is approaching. The event will be held at Faulkner's Village Green and St Marys Community Hall Carpark on June 7. Entry is free. The show will feature some of the state's most unique motor vehicles and there will be a $250 cash prize just for voting in the people's choice award. PayPal session
AN information session will be held in St Marys on May 21 to teach small businesses how to use PayPal. The gathering will take place at Madd Mudd's kitchen from 10am and will be hosted by Ian Whitehouse from Coachstuff. The session will also deal with other issues associated with running a small business. Anyone interested has been invited to attend.
Netball World Cup
NETTI, the Netball World Cup mascot, along with the netball World Cup will be visiting the new Break O'Day multi-purpose indoor stadium later this month. The mascot will be present to view the highly anticipated stadium's ongoing construction ahead of the Netball World Cup across Australia in August this year. The World Cup, World Cup Car, Netti, Break O'Day Mayor Mick Tucker and a few lucky children from St Helens District High School will be at the multi-purpose indoor stadium construction site at 117 Tully Street, St Helens from 12.20 on Wednesday, May 20.
