The big 57-point win continued the dismal start to the season for the Roos, who slumped to 1-5 after six rounds.
Jaye Bowden continued his good form with a five-goal effort while Ben Reynolds and Daniel Muir kicked three each for the Pies.
Bowden and Rhys Mott were outstanding for Glenorchy. with Mott pipping him for best-on-ground honours.
Mitch Williamson kicked three goals for the Roos, as did Trent Standen, with Jake Cox and Jack Gleeson their best players.
BURNIE came away from its long road trip to Kingborough's Twin Ovals with a convincing 18.17 (125) to 7.8 (50) win over the Tigers - its fifth of the season - to sit third on the ladder behind Glenorchy and North Launceston.
Romain Grenville kicked four goals for the Dockers, and Jason Laycock and Clinton Proctor three goals each.
Claye Hardy, Clint Riley, Darren Banham, Kade Munday, Harry Walters and Proctor were the standouts for Burnie.
Marcus Davies was the Tigers' best player, with Jack Bilson kicking two goals.
LAUDERDALE made it win number five to be fourth on the ladder with a 17.10 (112) to 8.16 (64) victory over Hobart City.
Ben Halton and Michael Cassidy, the power forwards for the Southern Bombers, kicked four goals each, with three to Ryan Wiggins.
Cassidy was named best on ground, with Zac Plant and Alex Hevey other good players.
Julian Debosz, Jake Briggs and Jayden Charlton kicked two goals each for Hobart City, with Debosz their best player.
