The former Launceston Football Club defender hurt his knee again playing for the UWS Giants on Saturday.
The 26-year-old first suffered the injury in round 18 last year against Geelong.
"It's an unfortunate injury for Tim who's worked very hard to get himself back to full fitness," GWS football manager Graeme Allan said on Sunday night.
"Tim is a highly valued member of the Giants and the whole club is behind him as he looks to overcome this setback."
Mohr will meet with a knee specialist this week.
He returned to football last month for the Giants’ reserves in his quest to get back to senior football.
Mohr, who has played 43 matches for the expansion club, has also battled foot, hip and groin injuries in his time at the Giants.
After being overlooked at national drafts, Mohr was recruited from VFL club Casey Scorpions at the end of 2011.
He re-signed with the Giants for two seasons last year.
