Man to stand trial on number of assault charges
A Launceston man accused of a series of Criminal Code assaults will stand trial in the Supreme Court.

Nathan Henry John Riley, 35, faced the Launceston Magistrates Court on Monday.
Defence solicitor Mark Doyle told the court that his client pleaded not guilty to all indictable charges, being five counts of Criminal Code assault and one count of having demanded property with menace.
Magistrate Simon Brown committed Mr Riley for trial in the Supreme Court in Launceston on July 20 at 10am.
He adjourned a summary charge of common assault to a date to be fixed.
