Northern man pleads not guilty to raping partner

The man, 42, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, faced the Launceston Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
He has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of aggravated sexual assault which police allege occurred in March.
Defence solicitor Fred Lester told the court that his client pleaded not guilty to all three charges.
Magistrate Reg Marron committed the accused for trial in the Supreme Court in Launceston on July 20 at 10am.
