O'Sign injured his calf in the Bombers opening round match against Launceston.
North have been careful about not rushing him back but coach Zane Littlejohn said if he got through training without any problem last night then he would play in the grand final rematch.
"It doesn't matter where the teams are on the ladder or whether they are 3-0 or the other way around or when the games are played - it's exciting and a great rivalry and I'm expecting a tight contested game which is good for Tassie footy," Littlejohn said.
The Bombers are also waiting on the fitness of Jay Lockhart who is continuing to recover from an AC joint injury suffered in round 1 and is another who is a chance to play if he trained well.
Littlejohn said Ben Elmer was also knocking on the door for a senior game.
Storm coach Mitch Hills said his team would be fired up to win and make amends for last year's grand final loss on the big stage of the Anzac Day game.
"We're in a position we're not used to and certainly don't want to be in but it's not panic stations from our end because we know once we can get that win and get our game going for four quarters we can beat any team in the competition," he said.
Jade Child returns to the side and Hills said they had a full list available but could make some changes based on performance.
LAUNCESTON added Shaughan Killalea, Casey Brown and Curtis Murfett to its squad for its game against Burnie on Sunday.
Coach Scott Stephens said his side needed to get back on track after a disappointing game last week.
Jack Donnellan was a chance to return after missing a week with a shoulder injury and the Blues continue to blood their development league players also adding Jordan Partridge and Rhys Petterwood to the squad.
The Blues lost Tim Gibbons to ankle ligament damage but Stephens was hopeful of having him and Sonny Whiting back after the bye in a fortnight.
Casey Reissig's season is over with an MRI scan last week confirming he will need a full knee reconstruction.
Burnie coach Clint Proctor said he was hoping to regain Nick Walters and may recall James Plant for this week's game.
Devonport named coach Mitch Thorp as an emergency for its game against Hobart City but he said last week he was two weeks away from returning from an ankle injury.
