Cherry Bomb
TYLER, the Creator has well and truly staked his claim as the creative mastermind of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All with fourth album Cherry Bomb.
Pharrell's influence has never been more obvious but this is only for the best, with more Cherry Bomb t racks identified for their genius on first listen as opposed to the persistence required with Wolf and Goblin .
Kanye West and Lil Wayne perform on Smuckers - an enjoyable return to a vintage Weezy - and ScHoolboy Q appears on personal favourite The Brown Stains Of Darkeese Latifah Part 6-12 (Remix).
The risk with Tyler, who continues to reach for offensiveness as his default weapon, is that his fans will continue to age while his music will not - but Cherry Bomb seems to be the beginning of a new and exciting chapter.
