- Received and noted department managers' briefing reports.
- Agreed to write to the Local Government Minister Peter Gutwein, advising him that the council was prepared to consider a possible voluntary amalgamation with other councils, subject to appropriate due diligence being completed.
- Received and noted the March Update of the Annual Plan.
- Endorsed the recommendations of the Community Grants Committee and allocated funds from the Councillors Discretionary Grants fund to the Springfield Hall Association and Winnaleah Netball Club.
- Endorsed the recommendations of the Community Grants Committee and allocated funds from the Community Matching Grants fund to the Dorset Community Men’s Shed, Scottsdale Crows Football Club, Bridport Football Club and Scottsdale RSL Sub Branch.
Councillors also:
- Agreed to establish an Audit Panel and adopted the Audit Charter
- Appointed Geoff Anyon as Chairperson for a two year term
- Appointed Deputy Mayor Howard and Cr Jessup as members of the audit panel for a two year term
- Appointed Cr Leon Quilliam as an alternative member of the audit panel for a two-year term.
