This year's agricultural field days will be held on Thursday, May 7, to Saturday, May 9.
Media and promotions director Dayna Broun said chairwoman Amanda Bayles and the Agfest executive committee would move into the Quercus Park headquarters a couple of weeks before the event started.
"The rest of the committee will move in on the weekend or Monday before Agfest and everyone else will be there from the Wednesday," she said.
"As is the case every year, there are lots of different things on offer, one of which is the Yamaha Super Tank.
"It's a really exciting mobile fishing demonstration based in a huge tank, 15 metres long and three metres wide, that has live fish in it.
"It addition to that, we have the Stihl Timbersports Series happening over the three days this year."
Ms Broun said site numbers were on a par with last year at more than 700 confirmed exhibitors.
"And we also have just under 200 hopefuls on the waiting list," she said.
Ms Broun said that erection of the larger marquees had already begun, but activity would become more frenetic as the opening date approached.
