Mr Gibson investigated drainage techniques around the world during his Nuffield Scholarship in 2014.
He will tell attendees how better water management can be used to increase production on non-performing ground.
Fellow 2014 scholar Ms Brock will talk about her investigation into reducing the assessment time of soft berry fruit by developing a technique for placement of gene markers in the plant.
Nuffield Tasmania chairman Rob Bradley said that the event was a perfect example of how the Nuffield program brought important international knowledge back to Australian agriculture.
"Hearing our returned scholars present their findings here in Tasmania is one of the most valuable aspects of the Nuffield network, as they are bringing back the latest knowledge from around the world," he said.
"This knowledge is for all industry to use however, and we welcome anyone in the Tasmanian farming sector to come along and hear Greg and Karen speak."
Abby McKibben, of Roaring Beach, has just returned from a contemporary scholars' conference in France, courtesy of her 2015 scholarship, and will tell attendees about this unique experience, while Boat Harbour farmer and 2015 scholar Thomas Snare will speak about his participation in the global focus program.
Cost of the evening is $40 a head and RSVPs are required by April 20 to Nuffield Tasmania secretary Bernadette Clarke on findowie@bigpond.com.
