The event will be held for the fifth time in the city at Hotel New York.
"'After the first event here, it did create a sub-culture, or cult following here in Launceston, and what it differs from our other nights is that it is not just a headline act coming in, there is a crew of five or six people," Hotel New York venue manager Andrew Joyce said.
"That party crew and extra energy in the room is really what makes the night."
This time around DJs Holly J will open the night and Seek N Destroy will close the evening.
"She is originally from New Zealand, and she is a DJ and producer who has played in every club in Melbourne, and is well known.
"Seek N Destroy is a DJ-producer from Adelaide, who is pushing his own sound, which is hard to describe. He is a bit more underground than Holly J, and this will be his first time in Tassie.
"They will provide two different elements, with Holly with a fresh, friendlier sound, while Seek N Destroy will cater for the 'dance heads'."
Hotel New York will also unveil its new look on Saturday.
The renovated venue will have $80,000 worth of LED screens, a rebuilt stage, three new seating sections, with Joyce saying it will now be "somehere between stereosonic and a big club".
