Mrs King was given the award in Hobart on Wednesday morning.
She has four sons: Harri, Kobe, Jalen, and Noah, who sadly passed away in 2011.
A prominent blogger at The Kings, Mrs King endured immense heartache in 2011-2012, when Noah, who was born with a condition called Hydranencephaly, passed away.
In January 2012, husband Aaron and the father to her sons suffered a fatal heart attack.
He was 39.
''Lisa has been an inspiration to her family and friends, in times of love and sadness,'' Premier Will Hodgman said in a press release.
''She has also reached out to strangers through her blog, sharing her experiences of being a mother and a wife, who has lost both a child and a husband.''
Mrs King will now represent Tasmania in the National Mother of the Year award, which will be announced in Sydney on May 7.
The other Tasmanian finalists were Jody-Lee Rosevear and Margaret Saunders.
