LOSSES: David Wickham, Tim Seen (Bridgenorth), Taran Little (Lilydale), Aden Morris (St Pats), Jorden Beams (St Pats), Will Mohr (Scottsdale), Luke Cox (St Pats).
LAST SEASON: Fifth.
COACH SAYS: ‘‘We are still negotiating with some potential new players and expect to be competitive.
‘‘The club made finals for the first time in seven years last year and we would like to repeat that.
‘‘Losing a century goalkicker in David Wickham is a big loss, but with the addition of some young, quick, skilful players we will be smaller but quicker.
‘‘We will be playing a far different game plan from what we’ve done before.’’
PROSPECT HAWKS
COACH: Danny Hall
CAPTAIN: Mason Keane
GAINS: Jamie Rayner (Hillwood), Michael Murfett ( Lilydale), Dylan Mackrill, (returned from Qld)
LOSSES: Jacob Knight (Western Storm), Joshua Waldie (Air Force)
LAST YEAR: Third.
COACH SAYS: ‘‘Our aim this year is to maintain form from week to week. As a young club we will have a big focus on youth, as they are the future, and hopefully take another step from last year.
‘‘One of our deficiencies last year was we did not perform well enough against the top three sides, so we want to be consistent regardless of the opposition and pride ourselves on team football.
‘‘Our list hasn’t changed a lot and the experience that some of our younger guys gained last year should help with them being a year older.’’

COACH SAYS: ‘‘ We have recruited strongly and we are looking for a top-four finish and want to make finals.
‘‘The pre-season has been great with awesome numbers and positive signs for the club, so we’re looking for a big year. ‘‘We will have a more potent forward line this season with Lewis Taylor coming back and will adapt our game plan accordingly.’’

LAST YEAR: Runners-up.
COACH SAYS: ‘‘Given the retention of players, key recruits and the pre-season we have had, as a group our ultimate goal is to finish top-three and then to win the important games after that.
‘‘The way we’ve gone about our pre-season and the improvement in some of our younger players and particularly borderline players should help, and the height in our recruits will add to us massively with guys like Ted Davis, Sean Hamilton and Josh Bellchambers.’
‘‘We would like to think that we are in a good spot to be a really competitive side this year.’’

‘‘It is a bit more challenging to come back to the club from Hillwood as coach after playing in the 2012 premiership and in 2013.
‘‘I think we can make finals this year and we have a good group with some new players, and once we click there’s no reason we can’t push every side.’’
OLD LAUNCESTONIANS
COACH: Gene Savage
GAINS: Damien Summers.
LOSSES: Sam O’Keefe, Brian Finch, Jake Smyth and Lucas Shaw.
LAST YEAR: Fourth.
COACH SAYS: ‘‘We’ve lost a few players but I’m excited about taking on the coaching job and we want to remain competitive.

‘‘The boys are keen for a challenging year and want to consolidate our position without slipping too far back.’’
