Madelyne Clarke has continued to raise funds for children's charity Camp Quality, which allows kids with cancer to still have fun while undergoing serious medical treatments.

Her grandson Heath Millhouse, 20, was five when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour that required surgery, and then radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Mrs Clarke said Heath loved every minute of the time he spent with Camp Quality.

She said because he was so sick it was difficult to stray too far from the hospital, but doctors and nurses were always on hand at the camps to provide medical treatment, and families could relax without worry.

"Heath loved it, didn't matter what activity they did, he just loved it. He would talk about it for weeks and weeks and weeks, and he was just always so happy when he came back," Mrs Clarke said.

"Isn't that marvellous that someone can make another person so happy? It becomes the most important thing in these kids' lives."

Mrs Clarke will be raising money at the Deloraine Hospital on April 26 at 1pm, at the Deloraine Day Centre.

"We raise between $1000 and $2000 and that is enough to send one kid to camp. If lots of people like me can raise $2000, that means a lot of kids can go to Camp Quality, so that is why we keep doing this."
