A family day packed full of activities will be held at the town's riverside reserve.
Although the event is organised by the town's Combined Christian Churches organisation, the event is open to people from all walks of life.
Church leaders association chairman John Phelps said this year would mark the festival's 14th annual event.
"There'll be games, there'll be music, there'll be stories, face painting, jumping castles and an air tunnel," Mr Phelps said.
"We'll also have a sausage sizzle and everything will be free."
He said people often asked why the event was free to attend.
"We believe that we were given something special on the first Easter time, so we give something to our community," Mr Phelps said.
"That's the reason; we celebrate that gift by giving to our community."
Stories will also be a part of the day, including a tale about Simpson and his donkey, the discovery of the first Granny Smith apple and sunflowers.
Mr Phelps said piggy-back donkey races, apple dunking and sunflower seed-spitting games would be paired with each story.
"We always have a tug of war - that's always great - and games like water balloon volleyball, which is always a lot of fun," he said.
An archway team-building competition is expected to be a highlight of the day, as groups try their best to erect their structures while racing against the clock.
Mr Phelps said the event would be run by young members of the church communities.
