From wood holders to towel racks and cots, Adam and Clarissa Horne, of Wynyard, have worked hard to make their Ad’s Fab’s steel creations both artistic and practical.
Ad’s Fab’s was just one of the 45 stalls that took part in the popular Niche Market Bazaar in Launceston yesterday.
Mrs Horne said the twisted metal and scroll work of the handmade designs are all made from scratch out of flat pieces of steel.
‘‘We want to mix art and function together to make a piece that not only looks pretty but also is functional,’’ she said.
‘‘They’re solid steel designs so they will last forever.
‘‘We use our own ideas and the ideas of our clients to create the pieces.’’
Clothing, soaps and jewellery stalls saw more than 3000 people come through the doors of Albert Hall.
Each stall donated 20 per cent of their sales to Launceston organisation, St Giles.
Information on Ad’s Fab’s designs can be found on their Facebook page.
