The circuit, located south of Launceston, is awash with supporters for all of the V8 Supercars manufacturers, but the red of Holden and blue of Ford is standing out.
Symmons Plains comes alive
Holden fans are the happiest at the moment after Red Bull Racing's Craig Lowndes took pole position for both of this afternoon's two 25 lap races.
The first of those races is at 3.15pm and the second at 5.15pm.
