The school will host its biannual twilight fair later this month.
This year the funds will be used to build a shed and a bike rack.
The fair has become a tradition for the school and will held on Friday, March 27 from 3pm to 6pm.
Event organiser Diane Jessup said the fair was a community-driven event and had positive outcomes for Scottsdale students.
"The local community has really got behind this event by donating goods and services to our prize tables and donating their time and money to this worthy cause," she said.
"The money raised is used to buy new equipment or make improvements, this year we are raising money to build a new bike rack and shed."
Mrs Jessup said the students had also been involved from the beginning.
"We ran a poster competition to get the children involved, the winning posters will be used around the community to advertise our event. There are loads of great family activities and demonstrations from local talents in Jujitsu and dancing."
The evening will also include a visit from the Dorset Council Active Youth Program and its zorb balls, a Lions Club chocolate wheel, a jumping castle and plenty of food stalls put on by the students.
Music on the night will also be provided by students and barbecue food will be available, following a car boot sale.
