Lucky escape for driver as tree falls on truck
A truck driver had a lucky escape this morning when a tree fell his vehicle while driving on the Bass Highway near Elizabeth Town.

Tasmania Police say the incident happdened about 7.30am.
The tree fell across the road and struck the truck across the windscreen.
The male driver was not injured.
Police say the truck is now off the road.
