Pearce won the championship in 2006-07 and was runner-up in 2008-09.
Despite conditions better suited to wind surfing than lawn bowls, both grand finalists put on a fantastic display with very few multiple scores in the counts from either over the game's duration.
Right of way to the grand-final came via their respective morning semi-final wins. On a green starting at 14.26 seconds, Monson defeated teammate Colleen Davis by 12 shots and Pearce had a similar winning scoreline against Launceston's Lyn Cornelius.
Other results from Tuesday saw Davis topple North's Barb Smith by six shots, Pearce get up by two over North's Madge Strochnetter, Monson by 10 against Kings Meadow's Val Ball and Cornelius by seven against East's Ann Allexander.
In memory of a lawn bowls pioneer, the D.L. Reid trophy has been an inaugural part of Northern Tasmanian women's bowls since 1974.
