The Greens Beach Advisory Committee was formed in late January to collect and discuss ideas for presentation to the West Tamar Council.
Committee member Pat Doolan said it was time residents - permanent or temporary - had a chance to contribute.
"There's a bit of a feeling down here that we're the end of the road - we're literally the end of the road and we feel we're the end of the road where the council is concerned. A lot of capital rates spending goes to Riverside and Legana," Mr Doolan said.
Mr Doolan explained that one decision saw $90,000 set aside for the Greens Beach shelter shed being diverted to a project at Riverside's Tailrace last year.
He said the creation of a Greens Beach-focused group might help prevent similar decisions being made in the future.
"This [committee] is totally with support from the council," he said.
"If we have this sort of voice things won't be so easily done in the future - there will be a voice to follow them up.
"Without a cohesive body nothing gets done."
Mr Doolan said potential focuses of the group would be stormwater drainage, amenities and tourism.
The Greens Beach Advisory Committee will meet on Sunday at 10am Greens Beach Golf Club.
