WHO: Angus and Julia Stone.
WHERE: Odeon Theatre, Hobart.
WHEN: Saturday.
ANGUS and Julia Stone's self-titled return last year means the world to the folk siblings from Sydney.
"It is something we are really proud of and it was something that brought us together," Angus told X-static.
"It did reunite us (after the two had explored other projects) and even though I try not to look far ahead, then if things are feeling right like this (in the future), then who knows.
"But at the moment we are very happy.
"Playing alone and together, they are two different things.
"There's an independence there of playing up there alone and manning the ship, but with Julia, I actually prefer that as I get to be part of the show and be an observer.
"She will play her songs and I will kick back, pour myself a drink and then wander around side of stage a little bit and it is really relaxed, which takes a bit of pressure off me.
"Having the time off was really important for us, kind of like a break in a relationship and you can get a little bit over it, and us going out and doing solo tours did freshen up the palate, so it was a positive change."
The self-titled release was the duo's highest charting album, reaching the top spot on the ARIA charts.
"I never really know what to expect with albums, as it is so far out of your hands, and you can sit there and it all sounds and feels really good, but you don't know," Angus said.
They are hitting the road once again, which will include a show at Hobart's Odeon Theatre on Saturday.
"We love coming to Tasmania and I was thinking of moving there once, as it is so magical and crisp and there is a real stillness there that I connected with," Angus said. "The crowds there are just really respectful."
