Thanks to mental health charity beyondblue, Hawthorn Football Club players will visit the town on Sunday for a football clinic and fun activities.
Doing Life Together co-ordinator Tammy McLean said it was a great opportunity for young members of the community to rub shoulders with some of the sport's best.
She said it was hoped about $1000 would be raised for beyondblue.
The George Town Saints will also hold their major pre-season fund-raiser Sunday - horse pat day.
A section of the oval will be divided into a grid and each square will be sold for a fee. A horse will do its business on one of the squares and the owner will be crowned winner.
The day would also feature a jumping castle, street stalls, a dance group and a barbecue.
