About 4000 people are expected to attend the two-day festival this weekend, double the audience of its 2014 event.
Festival organiser Jesse Higgs said 150 VIP tickets and more than 100 family tickets had also been sold.
Higgs said although the festival's mounting success was exciting, it did not overshadow the real meaning behind the gathering.
The event remains a dedication to Launceston's Christopher Horrocks, who died suddenly in 2013.
"It's a great thing to be able to celebrate his life, as well as other friends we lost — it's a reflection period for us," Higgs said.
"The festival allows 100 of our best friends to be in the same place at the same time, working towards something that's such a special occasion."
The festival will begin at 3pm on Friday, featuring renowned acts such as Jinja Safari, Akouo, The Smith Street Band and Luca Brasi.
Higgs said a free Wi-Fi setup would this year be added to the event, to help those stay in touch with Twitter, Facebook and — importantly — Tinder.
"The event has proven to be sustainable at this point and that's what our goal was," he said.
"We're not trying to make huge amounts of money out of the event, we want it to keep itself alive — there's a real energy about it, it seems like starting to gather its own momentum."
Higgs said the festival would not be possible without the dedication and hard work from their crew of volunteers.
Day tickets for Friday and Saturday are still available from the event's website here
