The field day will run from 10am-4pm at Woodbourn, 390 Thornbridge Road, Cressy.
The property's Janet Wallace said that the field days aimed to launch the Murray Grey Performance Plus producers network.
"That will establish the number of producers around the state which have Murray Grey cattle so people know where they're available," she said.
"The network will also help with communication.
Mrs Wallace said that speakers would include:
● A representative from the New South Wales Primary Industries Department talking about the on-farm factors required to meet MSA requirements.
● A pastoralist talking about maximising grass into beef.
● Representatives from Greenhams, JBS Swift and Huon Valley Meat Company.
A visit to a cross-breeding Angus-Murray Grey enterprise, also at Cressy, will follow lunch.
Bookings, for catering purposes, should be directed to Mrs Wallace on 6397 6285 by February 25.
