The 2015 World Day of Prayer will be hosted by the Break O'Day Anglicans on March 6, in Cecilia Street from 10am.
The World Day of Prayer is a worldwide movement of Christian women of all traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer on the first Friday of March each year.
More than three million people in over 170 countries join in a service, prepared by the World Day of Prayer Committee of a different country, each year.
In 2015 the service was written by the Bahamas Committee with the theme: Jesus said to them "Do you know what I have done to you?"
St Paul's Church member Carole Withers said this year's event would be prepared by the Bahama's World Day of Prayer Committee.
"We look forward to learning more about the Bahamas and their culture as we come together in March," she said.
"All churches in St Helens will be represented at the service, and will participate by sharing various portions of the program."
St Paul's Church has invited everyone in the Break O'Day community to attend.
