St Marys Cricket Club captain and coach Chris Turner has rallied the support of the community for the region's second annual Pink Stumps Day to raise money and awareness for the McGrath Foundation.
St Marys, St Helens, Scamander and Pyengana cricket clubs will all participate, with two games taking place at the St Marys Recreation Ground on Saturday, February 14.
Mr Turner is hoping the event will top last year's $3000 raised.
"In September 2013, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer," he said.
"We all know the good that Australian cricket does for the McGrath Foundation, so I thought it would be a good idea for our little community here too.
"Last year we tried the idea as a club and it worked well, so this year we are involving the whole East Coast Cricket Association, which is four teams."
The public is encouraged to attend, with food, drinks and activities for kids available on the day.
A gold coin donation is required upon entry.
