An outdoor cinema night at the Perth estate will be held on Saturday, an event Eskleigh chief executive Dale Luttrell hopes will see more people exploring its grounds.
"We want to try and make it a night where people can come along at a reasonable time before dark, enough [daylight] for a picnic or to start a meal with the family," Mr Luttrell said.
"This will be the first of the fundraising activities we will have in February." How To Train Your Dragon 2 will be shown from 7pm.
Money raised from the event will support the purchase of equipment for Eskleigh residents.
"We've got a number of needs at the home, particularly around resident equipment," Mr Luttrell said.
"A lot of the time residents can't afford to purchase them themselves, so we're trying to build a fund to assist those who perhaps need a new wheelchair or a special bed."
Entry to the cinema night is $10 for adults and $2 for children.
A barbecue and refreshments will be available, chairs will be supplied but guests are encouraged to take their own or a picnic rug.
A fund-raising trivia night at Perth Community Centre will also be held for Eskleigh on February 28.
