Beauty Point batted first on the small Legana ground, but struggled to put a competitive score together despite the efforts of top batsman Beav Hills who led the scoring with 60.
Eddie Miller and captain Rob Eltringham provided some support but Legana were able to chase down the total with two wickets in hand thanks to a fine knock from Tony Burgess who made 69.
The Longford Tigers showed why they are unbeaten and on top of the ladder by proving too strong for the in-form Uni-Mowbray team.
The Tigers batted first and at the close of the innings were 9-199 with Dion Blair again among the runs for his team.
Blair has been averaging almost 50 per game and yesterday top scored with 66 and had support from John McCoy with 59.
Alister Worth produced fine bowling figures of 4-25, but unfortunately his batsmen couldn’t support him and made just 8-158 in reply.
Worth completed a fine game making 41 with the bat to top score for Uni-Mowbray.
Trevallyn is back in contention for second place on the ladder after comfortably disposing of Hadspen at home.
Trevallyn batted first and led by captain Damian Whybrow made 186 and in reply Hadspen fell 42 runs short.
Whybrow top scored with 64 while Glen Gleeson fell two short of making his half century.
Hadspen’s Travis Crisp continued his fine season with the ball taking 4-31 while the most successful bowler for Trevallyn was Matthew Cocker who finished with 3-40.
In a high-scoring game Diggers got the points over local rival Perth.
After batting first Perth produced a good batting effort losing just three wickets for 247 with Phil Fulton falling just four runs short of a century.
He had support at the top of the order by Matthew Lawrence with 78, but in reply Diggers were able to reach the target with the loss of eight wickets.
The scoring was led by Adam Davie (44) and Troy Price (36) while Lee Clarke and Tim Crawford both made 27.
In A Reserve Longford scored a four-wicket win over Legana while Beaconsfield were too good for Bridgenorth.
