The ICC World Cup trophy - held aloft by the likes of Steve Waugh, Ricky Ponting, and MS Dhoni - drew a legion of cricket nuts to Royal Park and Westbury this morning with fans young and old posing for photos and taking part in impromptu games.
The 12-kilogram trophy is on display at Royal Park until 2.30pm.
It will head to St Helens and Bicheno tomorrow, before going south to Port Arthur on Thursday and Hobart on Friday.
Keep posted for The Examiner's video interviews with some of Launceston's biggest fans.
