In the end, Joga Bonito was too good for Connors in their first-division match, ending the night with an easy 5-2 win.
In the second division competition Penguins beat Man-Chest-Hair City, 2-1.
The third division competition ended with the City Daredevils taking home the title after beating Crocs 'n' Jocks in a penalty shootout.
Fourth-division team Double Trigger won its match over It's Just a Friendly, 2-1.
Club secretary Heather Reading said 32 teams entered in four divisions of the competition, sponsored by the Olde Tudor Pharmacy.
"When it started eight years ago there would have been half that amount of teams," Reading said.
"It's grown tremendously to the point where we've had to turn away teams because we're just full to the brim.
"There's teams represented from every club in the Northern region."
