The band took to the streets of Triabunna and St Helens on Friday and Saturday performing a free community Christmas concert.
Known for its versatility, the Australian Army Band Tasmania has performed varied programs on the state's east for almost a decade, using instrumental features and vocal extravaganzas.
Major Matt Chilmaid said the concerts were a win-win situation, benefiting both the community and the band.
"We get to perform in front of great audiences, while also getting our band out to regional areas and exposing the band members to parts of the state they don't usually see," he said.
"It's good to get out there so we can spread the band's reputation."
Major Chilmaid said last weekend's concerts were received well by residents.
"The audiences have been really great and numbers are definitely up from last year. It's growing each year.
"Luckily the weather was beautiful, so that really helped as well."
The Australian Army Band Tasmania will finish off its state Christmas tour with carols at MONA in Hobart on Sunday, December 21, from 1pm.
