After a three-year hiatus the Ringarooma Players will again present their whacky Christmas pantomime.
Cinderooma will play at the Ringarooma Hall and admission is by gold coin donation.
Director Helen Stingel said that rehearsals began in mid-September for the 16th pantomime in which she had been involved.
"But it took a while to get going because I've lost a few of my cast members and had to do some recruiting," she said.
"I even grabbed a fellow who originated in Liverpool, I believe, who has landed in Ringarooma.
"Gale Adams and Shirley Young are the only two left from the original players and they're rearing to go after the break."
Ms Stingel said that the production basically followed the traditional Cinderella story, but involved a "Ringarooma twist, to add interest".
"But I'n not going to give anything away now — people should come along themselves," she said.
Entry, as ever, is by patrons' "very generous donation" and performances will be held at 8pm, on Friday and Saturday.
