Ms Bishop said that the association had written to the Parks and Wildlife Service raising the conditions of tracks, at Ralphs Falls, Halls Falls, Mount Scott, and Cuckoo Falls.
"These tracks play a vital role in the visitor experience to our area and it's disappointing there seems to be no plan to have them properly maintained," she said.
Ms Bishop said the issue had also been raised with members of Parliament in the hope something could be done before the main summer tourism season.
"I know damage done to the Ralphs Falls track at the Mount Victoria Reserve was the result of some remarkable weather conditions, but it is quite a short track to a dramatic lookout and is included in Tasmania's 60 Great Short Walks," she said.
"Parks is waiting on specific funding grants to do the needed repairs.
"Cuckoo Falls is also closed and seems to be much less of a priority for the service, which has suggested volunteers might be able to help there."
Ms Bishop said that tracks, like those to the three sets of falls, were all completed by local communities and represented a cultural asset, which also happened to be a great benefit to visitors.
"Several of the tracks were transferred from Forestry Tasmania to Parks and Wildlife late last year," she said.
"We understand Parks had a bigger area to manage, but extra funding was also part of the transfer arrangements."
