The government's budget cuts will again feature prominently during question time today, with details slowly emerging of where the impacts will be felt.
Public servants have held stop work rallies across the state, calling for the government to renegotiate a pay freeze, instead of cutting jobs.
Treasurer Peter Gutwein has said the pay freeze issue is dead, and says the public sector will not look dramatically different as a result of the cuts.
The government is also tipped to use this morning's question time to announce its long-awaited changes to the state's gun laws.
