We have a developer wanting to put his money into a development to do something with the old silos.
Now we have a new alderman in the form of Janie Finlay, putting a spoke in the wheel.
She is bringing a motion to rescind the council's decision to demolish the old wool stores.
It seems she isn't for or against that motion but the fact that the wholesale demolition was not voted on.
Is this going to turn into another CH Smith saga where someone wants to invest money but someone makes it too hard?
With the CH Smith and those appallingly ugly cottages near Centrelink, will we add the old woolstores to the mouldering heap that dot Launceston's landscape?
