The buildings have sat there for years not being used as they are in disrepair and contain asbestos, then along comes somebody like Errol Stewart with vision and a plan, which I might add has been approved, and this group of anti-development people decide they need to stop it from happening.
This development is not only injecting money into Launceston and employing local people, it will also bring more tourists to town.
This is what we need isn't it?
I say to the six that have objected that if you have a plan and can get approval for it - but most of all you also have the money to make it happen - then go ahead, but if you cannot bring your ideas to fruition then go away and leave it to the people that can. In short put up or shut up.
