Toker is keen to further his career in Victoria and hopes to spend some time with leading trainer David Hayes.
‘‘I’m waiting for the paperwork to come through,’’ he said after winning on classy filly Geegees Goldengirl.
‘‘All going well, I’ll be leaving after the Newmarket Handicap (next Wednesday).’’
Geegees Goldengirl’s win in the Class 2 Handicap gave Toker a treble after the first five races.
Trainer Stuart Gandy has a high opinion of the three-year-old, a half-sister to top galloper Geegees Blackflash.
‘‘We’ve always liked her – she’s big, strong and tough,’’ Gandy said.
‘‘I tried some different gear on her tonight – adding winkers – and it may not have worked because she raced a bit too forward.
‘‘I’ll talk to Ismail about it but I might take them off for her next start, which will be in the 3YO Cup.’’
