The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting above average and dry conditions in the coming months, prompting some concern for bushfires.
But East Coast hotel, resort and park owners say everything is in order for a successful holiday season.
"We've already had a lot of bookings," Bicheno Big4 Cabin Park owner Gloria Hartridge said.
"Summer is our busy time, we're usually fully booked from the middle of December onwards."
Mrs Hartridge, who runs the Bicheno cabin park with her husband John, said the region's unique contrast of national parks and beaches appeals to holiday-makers.
"You've got the Douglas Apsley National Park - that's beautiful in its own right. Then you have Freycinet and Wine Glass Bay as well. But it's the colour of the water. It makes you not want to leave."
St Helens Tidal Waters Resort owner Eric Bennett said it's not just Tasmanians who are flocking to the coast.
"The first customers are always Tasmanian, but we get them from across the globe," he said.
"Reviews of the Bay of Fires by Lonely Planet are making people more aware of the state. It's promoting what we have.
"We've had quite a good spring. Now we're all just hoping we have good weather in summer too. That'll make the difference."
