The 34-year-old defeated Royal Fremantle golfer Bucan three and one in the 36-hole final.
In the women’s amateur championship, last year’s runner-up in West Australian Hayley Bettencourt has gone one better and won the 2014 Tasmanian women’s title.
The 20-year-old comfortably accounted for her opponent from Bonnie Doon Golf Club in New South Wales, Sophie Cusack winning nine and eight.
Riverside Golf Club member Isaac Pinnington has defeated local Ulverstone member Aaron Fennell to capture the Tasmanian Men’s Handicap Championship.
The 19-year-old, who plays off a handicap of three, defeated Fennell four and three in the 18-hole final.
