When two young Launceston men wrote these lyrics in a song dedicated to sporting star Ellyse Perry, how could she resist hearing it for herself?
Hamish Geale and Brent Jacobson from the comedy band Brandish decided to write The Ellyse Perry Song after they heard her on the radio.
Months after the song was written the band had the opportunity to play it to Ms Perry at Aurora Stadium on Friday.
Waiting nervously for their subject to arrive, the two musicians said they never thought they would get the chance to play it to her.
"She plays two sports for Australia and that's amazing," Mr Geale said.
"It's scary having her here because it makes it real rather than just a joke we're having."
Taking a break from her busy cricket and soccer career, Ms Perry said she was "pretty chuffed" to have a song written about her.
"I'm horrible at music so the thought of compiling or composing a song is pretty daunting to me," Ms Perry said.
"This is certainly the only song that I've ever had written about me.
"I've heard some of their other music and they're very talented musicians."
And when they finally met it was a nervous moment, but what girl could resist being serenaded two talented musicians.
The band plans to continue writing comedy music and will officially launch The Ellyse Perry Song today at the Aussie 15's Gala Day at Aurora Stadium.
"We're pretty happy doing the comedy stuff and we've got an EP coming out this year," Mr Jacobson said.
"We don't really intend on doing anything different for the time being."
