The grade 7 athlete claimed two of the five records to fall at the Northern High School Sports Association division 1 carnival.
In the 80-metre girls' hurdles, Longstaff clocked 15.17 seconds to beat the existing record by 0.13 and added the long jump with a distance of 4.70 metres, 12 centimetres above the meet record.
Fellow Prospect student Tarryn Thomas was also among the record-breakers, clearing 1.80 metres in the grade 8 high jump to beat the existing record by 5 centimetres.
Riverside's Lachlan Robertson set a new benchmark of 13.14 metres in the grade 10 triple jump, 16 centimetres more than the existing record.
And Queechy's Brooke Hibbs smashed the grade 9 girls' 1 kilogram discus record of 26.94 metres when she unleashed a 29.76-metre monster.
After Thursday's division 2 carnival, Athletics Tasmania executive officer Brian Roe reported another successful day's athletics with division 3 to complete the agenda on Tuesday, also at St Leonards.
