Competing in the Northern High Schools Sports Association division 2 carnival, the 14-year-old broke four individual records.
In the 100 metres, Summers clocked 13.30 seconds to beat the existing record of 13.54, took exactly a second off the 200m record with 27.50, extended the long jump record by 16cm to 4.61m and the triple jump by 17cm to 9.40m.
Lilydale grade 7 student Aimee Hawes claimed records in the 100m (13.82) and 200m (28.80).
Other individual records fell to Exeter's Thomas Cooper, who clocked 12.11 in the grade 8 boys 100m, and Brooks grade 8 Indiah White-Brunskill who leapt 1.47m in the high jump.
Three relay records were also set with Exeter claiming the grade 8 4x100m double in 51.00 (boys) and 57.95 (girls) when Cressy also went inside the existing record in second place.
The division 2 carnival, which ran for four hours in intermittent rain, will be followed by the division 1 carnival today and division 3 on Tuesday. Northern Tasmania will fall into the national athletics spotlight from next Friday when the new Penguin track hosts the three-day School Sport Australia 12 years and under championships.
