About 740 people attended the event at the exclusive Culzean garden, owned by committee member Dinah FitzGerald.
Manager Annette Barrett said the health centre had asked clients and staff to consider what resources they would like the money to be used for.
"It will be something to benefit our clients and the users of our facility," she said.
"We've had a few people come up with ideas, but we'll just wait and see.
"It was amazing, from my perspective as the manager, the level of support and the way the committee all worked together and the way the community donated.
"It's an exquisite garden, so it had a high level of appeal. A lot of people hadn't seen it, so that was a wonderful drawcard."
Culzean is a classic English garden spread across four hectares, and was established in 1840.
Dr FitzGerald said all visitors had treated the garden with respect.
"I have to say, the next morning I sat out with a cup of coffee and I thought 'my gosh, we've had 740 people through here, and I have not picked up any rubbish, I have not found any damage, I wouldn't have known you'd been there'," she said.
"It really didn't do any damage to the garden."
