Promoting all things hazelnut, the day will include stalls, live music and a rare look into one of the state's largest hazelnut farms.
All proceeds will go to the Clifford Craig Medical Research Trust to raise money for cardiac disease research.
Hazelbrae at Hagley comprises a spectacular 5000-tree hazelnut grove and stunning English gardens.
Event organiser Christie McLeod said excitement was building in the lead-up to the inaugural fete.
"It's a really new industry here and around Australia, so we're hoping lots of people will come out and enjoy it," she said.
"There aren't many farms open to the public, so it'll be a new experience.
"We're very excited about it and it's a great fund-raiser for Clifford Craig."
Tours of the 5000-tree hazelnut grove will be free and will be held at 11am, noon and 3pm.
A Day at Hazelbrae will take place tomorrow at Hazelbrae, 127 Station Lane, Hagley.
Gates open at 10am.
