The Palmer United Party Senator says she will reject all legislation until the government changes its latest offer of a 1.5 per cent annual pay rise over three years for the Australian Defence Force.
"In order to protect our defence families, I will fight fire with fire and reply in an extraordinary way," Senator Lambie said.
"I will vote to defeat all Abbott government legislation until they stop using Anzac and Remembrance days as photo opportunities and ADF members as extras in a Liberal Party promotional film."
Senator Lambie also criticised her own leader, saying he was "back-flipping all over the place".
"It's getting to the point where I just don't care what Clive Palmer's position is on this at the moment," she told ABC Radio.
Senator Abetz, a fellow Tasmanian, said the pay offer was hampered by the government's efforts to rein in spending.
He said Senator Lambie was not being responsible.
"It would be a sad situation indeed if good legislation that was supported by every senator was voted down because senators were dealing with a legacy issue about which they were unhappy," Senator Abetz told Sky News yesterday.
"This sort of boycott would not be a responsible approach to take to the legislative imperative that is before the Senate at the moment."
Treasurer Joe Hockey said the government would not change its offer because of threats.
"Threats don't work with this government," he said.
"We have to live within our means, and everyone is making a contribution."
