The 2014 version of the much-loved festival will feature a variety of new attractions, including a home-brewed beer competition and a display from the East Coast's new Kiss a Fish Seafood Cookery School.
Organiser Fiona Ewington said families should attend because there would be something for everyone this year, not just food and alcohol.
"Children can have a great time in a safe environment whilst the parents can enjoy fresh local cooked food with delicious East Coast wines," she said.
"We have had lots of positive responses from local wineries and food producers with our biggest range ever.
"We have some new stall holders including Blue Cafe Japanese food, Pie-O-Matic, JJs octopus and Pyengana Cheese and a new wine from newcomer Overtime Vineyard."
Mrs Ewington said she expected a lot of support for new St Helen's business Kiss a Fish Seafood Cookery School.
"We're expecting that the Kiss a Fish Cookery School will have an impact as it is new, but the fresh seafood is always a winner with the East Coast crowds.
"And the fantastic line up of life music all day is a great draw."
The Bicheno Food and Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, November 22.
