A clean car will also mean more lollies for Deloraine children on Christmas Eve, and further support for the town's hospital auxiliary.
From 8.30am to 5pm Deloraine Fire Brigade will be conducting its annual fund-raising carwash.
"It's always held on the Saturday of the craft fair," Deloraine brigade chief David Nicholls said.
"The group wanted to give something else back to the community."
Mr Nicholls said funds raised would also go toward the brigade's operations.
"That involves canvassing all high risk bushfire areas such as Reedy Marsh and developing plans and making maps so we know exactly where the homes are out there, risk water sources, and looking for safe refuges for members when they're in the areas," he said.
"It will allow us to get out to Reedy Marsh and develop plans — we do all our own printing and map development. "
Mr Nicholls said the event tended to garner support from members of the community and those attending the craft fair.
"The amount of locals that support it and keep coming back each year is absolutely unbelievable," he said.
