The village's four-hectare Culzean Garden, established in 1840, will open its gates to the public on November 2, in aid of Westbury Community Health Centre.
The expansive garden lies hidden behind a row of trees along Westbury's William Street, boasting sprawling lawns, a lake and many well-established English trees.
Culzean owner Dinah FitzGerald said the grounds were kept exclusive, usually opening only to select visitors and interest groups.
Dr FitzGerald said all money raised from the event would be used to buy items for clients of the health centre.
"We'll give people a map and they can walk around and explore the garden," she said.
"There will be a brass band and some Tasmanian willow basket weavers as well as food and a plant sale."
Dr FitzGerald said members of the health centre's advisory board had been busy potting plants to sell in the weeks leading up to the event.
Advisory board member Anne Page said the day was not to be missed by fans of English gardens.
"It's just amazing," Mrs Page said.
"When Dinah offered to have an open garden we grabbed at the idea — we need all the money we can get."
The garden will be open to all members of the public from 10am to 4pm, Sunday, November 2.
