UNI-MOWBRAY batsman Shane Evans led his side to a 43-run victory over Trevallyn on a day of upsets in TCL A Grade cricket yesterday.

Batting at No. 4, Evans anchored the Tigers' innings with an unbeaten knock of 84 not out, as his side made 202 off 38 overs.
They then dismissed Trevallyn for 159 in reply to take the premiership points.
Chris Plumbridge chipped in with 31 and Zane Brown made 25 down the order.
Glenn Gleeson was the pick of the Trevallyn bowlers, taking figures of 4-29.
Gleeson then backed up to top-score with the bat, making 54 for Trevallyn with Andrew Fitz contributing a good knock of 43.
The pair put on a good partnership of 68 for the fifth wicket but lacked support from the rest of the batting order.
Richard Austin backed up from his hat-trick last week with another stellar effort with the ball, taking 5-25, and was on a hat-trick for the second week in a row but could not convert.
DIGGERS continued the theme of upsets, beating Beauty Point by 61 runs at Hagley.
The home side batted well after winning the toss and make 9-193, with opener Adam Davie the standout, top-scoring with 58.
Troy Price made 27 and Adam Henderson 26.
Tyler Bain was the best of the Point bowlers, picking up 3-36, and was also on a hat-trick at one stage but missed out.
Captain Rob Eltringham and Adam Turner took two wickets each.
In reply, Beauty Point managed 132, with Brennan Cresswell the best at the top order, scoring 53.
Scott Davie took 3-15 and Zac Deane 3-19 to do the damage with the ball, with Davie claiming the last two wickets in successive balls.
PERTH continued the trend of upsets, beating Legana by five wickets in their first home game of the season at Perth.
The Durhams made 137 with the bat, with Wayne Ford top-scoring with 30, but the Demons were up to the task of chasing the runs, finishing at 5-140 to record their first points in A Grade.
Phil Fulton continued his good form with the bat, top-scoring with 49 not out, with openers Scott Brewer and Jont Richardson making 20 and 27 respectively.
Troy Rudling and Brody Baker picked up three wickets each with the ball for Perth, while Michael Dunn and Kurt Wells took two each for Legana.
LONGFORD got home by two wickets in a thriller against Hadspen at Hadspen.
The Tigers won the toss and put the Chieftains in to bat, with the home side making 162.
Captain Clint Moore led the way at the top of the order, top-scoring with 49, and Tom Walker contributed a handy 32, batting at No. 9.
Nick Spencer claimed 4-17 with the ball for the Tigers.
Scott Bennett anchored the Longford run chase, top-scoring with 50 not out, with opener John McCoy making 24 and Stuart Prewer 22.
Simon Clay was the best of the Hadspen attack, taking 3-29.
